Marc Taylor Inc. served as the Director of Preconstruction/Chief Estimator for the $18 million dollar renovation of the College’s Natural Life Sciences Building. MTI oversaw scheduling, cost estimating, value engineering, bid packaging, contract analysis, bid-ability and constructability reviews on the new 44,063 sf chemistry and physical sciences building, and 23,135 sf of renovations to the existing Physical Sciences Building for Life Sciences. The new building and the remodel of existing lab space house the instructional programs for life and physical sciences, including eight classrooms and tiered lecture rooms, eleven teaching laboratories, cadaver storage, herbarium, aquarium room, microbiology preparatory facility, a planetarium, tutor center, storage, offices and student gathering spaces.
